Making Me Smile - 42/52
After a three and a half month struggle to get my new duvet cover and pillowcases in the house at the same time (long drawn out saga of "awaiting stock", returning pillowcases when stock unavailable, suddenly stock arrives but pillowcases were away - agh!) I have new bedlinen. Yay!
Smiling too because I finally got floral prints in the bedroom after nearly 16 yrs of marriage! It's a small success - let me enjoy it.

lovely. We always have plain bedlinen, a joint choice. But ... I rocked the marital bed recently by buying some Orla Kielty white and grey linen in TK Maxx. Think I have got away with it, just about.
ReplyDeleteOh so pretty! Please don't tell me it's only 10 weeks til Christmas? Jxo
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! And your hexies are perfect there. Congrats on the flowers - mine doesn't mind so much as long as it's not "old ladyish"!!
ReplyDeleteAnd they go so well with the wallhanging. Woohoo you! There's no turning back now. Once you've got the florals he can't make you return to something else.
ReplyDeletePerseverance is everything! Sleep tight x
ReplyDeleteYay, glad it all finally came together for you, sleep well!
ReplyDeletethe bedding was well worth waiting for, lovely and the hexies look great, was the bedding bought to match the hexies I wonder.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous bed linen! I love it. I bought some gorgeous flannelette sheets that are very floral this winter. I asked my husband if they were okay, and he said "I don't care. I figure I just sleep on them." I think he literally doesn't even look at the sheets before he collapses into bed!
