I Mitre Learned Something New

Sorry for the terrible play on words, but I wanted to show you my newly acquired skill: mitred corners!

Courtesy of great teaching at Judith's class this week I now know how to make a mitred border.  As was pointed out by a fellow classmate, the technical aspect of this (technical, not difficult you understand) really appeals to my nature and I am chuffed to have another wee skill in my arsenal!

This technique even looks tidy on the back.
And, now that my beautifully mitred picture frame is ready I am playing around with my design a little so that at next week's class I am all ready to get stuck in to the applique on the cushion front.
